International BBB Platform Launched
Developed by RAEX, the Borderless Bank of Benchmarks (BBB) is an open platform designed to make ESG indicators easier to compare across countries and support more consistent sustainability assessments.
“The launch of the BBB platform is a breakthrough in international ESG cooperation. We are creating an open ecosystem where industrial companies, investors and governments can come together around shared sustainability standards. Best practices from Russia, India and South Africa will now be available to everyone. This will accelerate real change in industry and strengthen global trust in our companies,” said RAEX head Dmitry Grishankov.
The platform’s first research release is Climate Risks & Opportunities in Mining & Metals Companies (MMC), prepared by RAEX in Russia, CareEdge ESG in India and Risk Insights in South Africa.
The study examines climate risks and opportunities for mining and metals companies, identifies key trends and establishes national benchmarks. The research is available on the partner agencies’ websites and on the BBB platform.
BBB enables companies to compare their ESG indicators with benchmarks from other countries, identify gaps and improve their international competitiveness. Businesses can use the data to plan decarbonisation spending, adopt new technologies and attract green investment. The platform can also support reporting to investors and regulators, particularly for companies operating in several countries.
BBB will continue to add sustainability data, reports and analysis. Its coverage is expected to expand across countries and industries, giving investors, public authorities and businesses a broader basis for decisions using reliable, comparable information.
